Comedy
Before she wrote scripts, Gilda Hauser Porcari wrote and performed her own material. A former stockbroker turned stand-up, she spent a decade in Detroit’s comedy scene — performing at Mark Ridley’s Comedy Castle and sharing bills with Tim Allen and Ellen DeGeneres. Her comedy was featured on CBS’s 48 Hours and in the Detroit Free Press, and she trained in improvisation at The Second City. That stage experience is the engine behind every script she writes today.
